Created in the Halloween Season and inspired by Ryan Murphy’s announcement of season 10 of American Horror Story, I used Procreate to create an animation of a transformation between two classic opposites: the angel and the devil. I refrained from using cliches in each scenario, emphasizing the nuances of bold color in regards to the polarity of good and evil–good is often brighter and more innocent, evil is more seductive and entrancing. The transformation was created via a frame-by-frame animation where I changed each layer individually.
I was heavily inspired by the promo poster for American Horror Story: Apocalypse.
